BIOGRAPHY: As might be typical for a young boy of sixteen, Simon Hayes had some trouble fitting in with his peers. His typical nerdish demeanor and lifestyle, of course, didn't add to matters. It did, however, add to the fun of those that like to harass those less physically inclined as they. So, Simon was bullied.

All in all, it didn't really bother him that much. It was more important for him to excel in academics, which he did with flying colors. Simon was a natural and creative genius. His free time was spent fooling around with gizmos and other "research" he had going on. The librarian and science teacher were his two best friends, which isn't saying much, really.

One day, though, his "cozy" and limited life was changed. His usual antagonists wished to make things more interesting and profitable, hitting Simon up for test answers and other services which Simon did not wish to do, but did for fear of physical abuse. But one minor slip up landed Simon in hot-water, which was the catalyst for his eruption -- he manifested a rather impressive gun to deter his would-be antagonists. This, of course, did nothing to endear him to them. But now he earned some respect.

Through rather ordinary channels, Project Utopia was informed of Simon's eruption and sought his enrollment with them. They offered unparalleled endorsement for his inventive and curious manner. They, in turn, employed his powers for their own goals, making him an agent of theirs.
