redirection.net Domain Name Redirection Service is a service that will direct your domain name to the web space provider of your choice. What redirection.net doesn't tell you, is that they use frames to do it!
What a search-engine sees when it looks at your redirection.net Domain Name Redirection Service URL is something like this (all on one line):
<title></title>
<meta name=keywords content="">
<meta name=description content="">
<frameset frameborder=0 framespacing=0 border=0 rows="100%,*" noresize>
<frame name="frame" src="http://your.web.space.provider.com/" noresize>
</frameset>
<meta http-equiv=refresh content="0; url=http://your.web.space.provider.com/">
<a href="http://your.web.space.provider.com/">http://your.web.space.provider.com/</a>
<!-- rn -->
Forget about the search engines seeing all your carefully chosen keywords. As far as a spider or bot can tell, "http://your.domain.com" on redirection.net has no title, no description, and no keywords. And forget about having a frame-free site. redirection.net doesn't give you a choice.
Oh, and there's nothing you can do about it. No refunds. As redirection.net's terms say, "If you are dissatisfied with redirection.net or any of its terms, conditions, rules, policies, guidelines, or practices, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the service. There are NO refunds."
So think twice before sending redirection.net your money (it was $30 when I went through this; they've since lowered it to $5). I know I wish I had.
