(This campaign is set roughly in the "Legends" Expanded Universe continuity, to change as the PCs alter events. Episodes VII through IX will be mined for ideas, but not otherwise be relevant.)

It is one year after the Battle of Endor. The Emperor is dead and the New Republic is gaining ground, but what once was a rebellion has become a galactic civil war, and chaos abounds. A single mercenary was the difference between the rise of a Dark Jedi cult and the Republic claiming the Valley of the Jedi. The Black Sun syndicate's internal strife boils over across worlds. Most dire to Master Skywalker of the New Jedi Order, the Imperial Inquisitorius -- greatest Dark Side disciples of Emperor Palpatine -- have become the heirs of the Sith. With their grip on the Imperial Remnant tightening, someone needs to deal with these masters of both espionage and corrupt Force powers.

That is where you come in.

Lost Jedi, smugglers, mercenaries, rogue Force sensitives, and more, you are outcasts in galactic civlization -- and heroes of the New Republic. Answering only to the leaders of the old rebellion, you have been tasked with tracking down enemies of peace and justice throughout the galaxy. Most importantly, you must find the leaders of this Dark Inquisition and stop them, before they replace the last Lord of the Sith with a villain just as dangerous.
